My Own Definition of Fiscal Responsibility

Among those who have supported Scott Brown the question has now arisen – how can he be seated immediately? There is even a site with petition for this to be done immediately.
My advice to the soon to be Senator is to -
1. Let the rumor grow that you are a little known member of the Kennedy family. As we all know, any and all laws of the land and Commonwealth can be overlooked for such a circumstance.
2. Take absolutely no advice from the Republican National Committee. Trust me, they will move in – probably already have – to take the lion’s share of the credit for your victory.
3. Did the margin of victory exceed that of absentee ballots? If so, what, if any, excuse can the Commonwealth’s Secretary of State give for not doing the decent and right thing?

Tonight the people’s seat in the US Senate has been filled by the people.
I offer my congratulations to the people of Massachusetts tonight. You, the people, have elected Scott Brown to represent you in the US Senate. You have spoken to the current administration and the other liberals and progressives in Washington, DC. You used your weapon – your vote – the only weapon needed to speak not only for yourselves but for the vast majority of Americans. I, for one, thank you.
During his speech tonight acknowledging the great victory for the people of Massachusetts, Senator-elect Brown made it very clear to everyone listening that there will be “no more backroom deals.” He said, “Our Constitution and our laws are intended to protect THIS nation.”
He stressed the thing that for many is most important when he said, “Giving rights to terrorists is not right for our country.”
He also said, “They thought you were all onboard with their issues, but tonight, you, and you, and you, and you (pointing to various parts of the crowd) showed them differently. We showed them that we can do better! I will go to Washington and answering only to my conscious and to you, the people, I will do my very best for all the people of our Commonwealth. I know who I am. I am Scott Brown, and I drive a truck. I am nobody’s Senator except yours.”
I am certain you are quite proud of yourselves, and well you should be. You did a great job, Massachusetts! Today, you have made history not just for your own Commonwealth, but for our nation.
Take a deep breath, and relax. Your Senate seat is in good hands now.

Tomorrow is the culmination of many months of campaigning and both candidates are looking forward to seeing how you, the people of Massachusetts, feel about them and your state so filled with American history. I personally would love to see the Democrats get what they have coming to them!
I support Scott Brown in this race because he stands for many of the same ideals I do. Most importantly, he stands for many of the same ideals that Massachusetts does.
I always think my next vote may be the most important vote I may ever cast, and it is the same for you. Tomorrow you can send a message loudly and clearly that will resonate from Boston Harbor to the Tidal Basin. The American People are as mad as the original patriots in Boston, and we’re not going to take it anymore!
I have never hidden the fact that I do not live in Massachusetts and cannot vote in your elections. I do have a strong belief in our Republic our people. We are a UNITED states. The good of one is the good for us all. When you vote tomorrow – and you MUST vote tomorrow – you are speaking not only for yourself and Massachusetts but also for me in Texas and all the others like me in all the other states of these United States.
Socialism will never curse America. Not as long as good American patriots such as the ones who live in Massachusetts stand for the truth of the American Constitution.

If I were a candidate for political office, I would be dropping to my knees and thanking God for an opponent like Martha Coakley. Despite the support of the Kennedy clan – who had been excused, for a day, from whatever rehab program they are currently enrolled in – Coakley’s numbers continue to nosedive.
There are no terrorists in Afghanistan and Fenway is all too common for the likes of dear, dear Martha. According to news reports, it seems that her idea of being a prosecutor is to keep the innocent behind bars and the politically connected walking the streets. I do realize that I live in the bluest of blue states, but making this woman a member of one of the most exclusive clubs in the United States would be somewhat akin to giving common sense a final goodbye wave.
As if it were some kind of enlightenment, she has a political ad which keeps reminding the people of the Commonwealth that Scott Brown is a Republican. Thank you, Martha, I wasn’t aware of that, and you happen to be a Democrat. By the way, which member of you squeaky machine was clueless when it came to the spelling of MASSACHUSETTS? If you folks cannot seem to figure out how to spell the name of the Commonwealth you hope to represent, what else will slip through those delicate little fingers of yours? Just asking. Though I do suppose that anything remotely resembling decision making would not be coming from you or your minions.
Since we are already well represented by shining stars of incompetence, please, Martha, stay here and come to a couple of games at Fenway. To enlighten you, Martha, that is where the Red Sox play a game called baseball.
Obviously, the Conservative Voice is being heard more loudly than we thought. Democrats in the House and Senate are “retiring” two at a time. Not just the “keep a low profile” Dems either – these are the big guns.
The latest to join the ranks of the unemployed of their own volition are Senator Byron Dorgan of North Dakota and (thank God for answered prayers) Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut. Bless their hearts they’re tired and ready to rest after their long illustrious (?) careers during which time they have sent America and Americans down the tubes.
It was Senator Dorgan, you may remember, who proposed an amendment to the Harry Reid Socialistic Health Care for a Socialistic America Bill to allow consumers to buy FDA-approved drugs from other countries. In a twist of Harry Reid’s nose, the pharmaceutical industry in America opposed this amendment thus it was defeated in the Senate by a 51-48 vote.
Senator Dodd, of course, was responsible for the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacle among others. He was also implicated as having received major kickbacks from Countrywide Financial Corp. which was under investigation by the Connecticut Attorney General’s office.
These two retirements are really good news for our Conservative voices. They will have little lasting meaning unless we join together in North Dakota and Connecticut as well as our other 48 states to defeat the liberal incumbents who are seeking reelection in 2010 and have not as yet received our message. Please be reminded that liberals are not only Democrats. They are Republican, Liberty, and Independent party members also.
Find them, Conservatives of America! Find them under whichever rock they are choosing to hide and let them know that we are deadly serious. We WILL remove them from office in 2010 and replace them with truly conservative Representatives and Senators!
We must start this process in Massachusetts on January 19 by electing Scott Brown the fill the Teddy Kennedy seat. Then one by one, we must unseat the others. Be determined, Conservatives.
Our time is NOW. Our voices are loud and we are in unison with our message. “Liberal, you’ve taken us for granted for the last time! We want your jobs! And we WILL get them!”

2009 can now officially become a memory, thank God! Let’s move forward into 2010 with due diligence and respect for our Conservative viewpoints. We must and will be heard in every 2010 election all across the United States.
Our voice starts with each of us in our local, state and national elections. Since there are very few candidates represented by the Conservative Party – USA, we must stand up and speak up for the most conservative candidates we can find. If that isn’t satisfactory, then we must search for a true conservative to run under our banner. If big money, offers of fame and notoriety, promises of continued support, etc. work for labor groups, heavily funded corporations and other lobby interests, we must turn them around to fit our conservative voices.
Conservatives are the largest voting bloc in the United States. Thomas Paine said so succinctly, “If we do not hang together, we shall surely hang separately.” This was echoed by Benjamin Franklin, “Ay, we must all hang together, else we shall all hang separately.”
We find ourselves in much the same position. As long as we are united in our common conservative values system, no one will hang!
Have a wonderful New Year’s Day. Enjoy the football, basketball, hockey, front-yard football and black-eyed peas today. Rest up. We have a long fight before us. It is a fight we must win.
